David and Abigail, along with their 5 children, live on-site here at the ranch.

David and Abigail both grew up in Michiana and have spent their lives in the farming and homesteading community, learning the art of animal husbandry.

Abigail homeschools the little ones, handles the day to day of the Ranch, and manages the ins and outs of daily equine care such as farrier scheduling, boarder communication, vet visits, and turnout schedules.

David owns and operates Get Fenced! in Lafayette and his expertise in general construction, as well as his past experience in building maintenance from both The Kennedy Space Center and Purdue University serves him well when it comes to maintaining/improving the boarding barn and other structures here on the Ranch.

From mucking stalls, to walking the pastures to find fly masks, to giving the horses individualized care and attention, our family works together to welcome your horse into the 10 Oaks family!
